Auckland Design Week is here to transform the spirit of Aotearoa New Zealand's place and space through the positive power of design.
Full of life, vibrant and colourful ADW is here to flip the traditional - reframing what a design festival can be for Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland. Our inaugural event took place over 7-days in March 2024, consisting of tours, workshops, demonstrations, speaker panels, screenings and more. Attendees visited showrooms and toured completed spaces across five inner-city suburbs, incorporating over 50 brands and 30 speakers.
This event is bringing a new energy to what design can be. It’s a window into our culture, to our work - an open and inclusive invitation to come on in, whether you’re a designer or a design enthusiast. Architecture | Theatre | Interiors | Film | Landscape | Graphic Design | Fashion | Art | Music | DESIGN. There’s something for everyone.
