This year, distinguished as the World Design Capital, Mexico City has been celebrating its own Design Week every autumn since 2009. The 2018 edition will take place from October 10th to 14th and will held more than 25 events.
Mexico City has been selected as the second city that will preside over the worldwide network of 50 urban and design festivals, World Design Weeks.
During the Design Week Mexico and Arch Days Forum their representatives will meet on October 13th at the World Summit of Design Weeks, which will include events such as Design Week Forum, where the audience will be able to interact with some of the international design scene.
The objective is to promote collaboration in the design field, to support product development, and to develop the economy of creative fields. The event is to address independence and dependency from the point of view of design, product development, and economy. It also creates a tangible framework for designers to build a new national identity, to strengthen international networking, and to develop cooperation and innovation.
Therefore we will like you to be part of this great event as well as all the programing that Design Week Mexico has to offer.
The upcoming Summit to be held in Mexico City were Design Weeks around the world will gather to talk about their best practices, as well as the programming of Design Week Mexico. The summit will be held in oct 13th at Lincoln Offices, we look for each festival to experience the whole agenda, if possible we would like for you or your team to come to Mexico City from oct 10th until the 14th.
The objective of this summit is to meet representatives from international design weeks and learn more about the WDW network, to shares knowledge, resources and best practices, fostering the exchange of products and ideas, sustainable development, and the growth of individual design events.
