Nadine Vicentini is the managing director of bayern design, the international competence center for knowledge transfer and collaboration on the topic of design in Bavaria. Through a variety of projects this organization underlines the importance of design and the key role it plays in tackling economic, social and sustainability challenges. One of the main projects is the munich creative business week (mcbw) - the largest design event in Germany, which takes place every spring in Munich. 

After attaining a Master of Arts degree in Media, Communications and Cultural Studies at Roskilde University in Denmark, Nadine worked as a marketing manager, account director, and team leader for renowned design and architectural firms. 

Since 2014, she has been self-employed in the areas of brand development and design strategy and lectured on different design topics at the AMD Academy for Fashion & Design in Munich. 

 

She is board member of the umbrella association of German Societies for Design, Deutscher Designtag (DT) and is involved as an advisor to the Forum for Building Culture of the Bavarian Chamber of Architects.
