Year 2018, WDW Guest Cities were Beijing and Tokyo. All WDW members and future members, international media, distinguished designers and friends of design were warmly welcome to an event organised by WDW Asia.
TOKYO presented “WORLD FLOWERS” produced by Tokyo Design Week and designed by NAKED Inc., leading art &design team in Japan, sponsored by ABLE & PARTNERS INC. “WORLD FLOWERS” features flowers, the design of WDW member cities.
“WORLD FLOWERS” introduced the essence of WDW, showing world flowers on a large size book-shaped screen to tell the stories of our 27 member cities.
As the pages of the book-shaped screen are turned over, petals danced and scattered in the wind. Symbolizing our precious interconnected network of creatives and creative industries.
BEIJING will present “BEIJING, HARMONY WITH NATURE”, an exhibition on “Red Star Design Award”, leading design award in China and Asia.
